Update Details Emerge

Konami have sent over a press release detailing the release day update due on Thursday this week to co inside with the European release.

Press Release translated from Spanish:

"The highly anticipated new installment of the football simulation series from Konami, PES 2012, will come to PlayStation ® 3, Xbox 360 ® and Windows PC this Thursday September 29.

As the date gets closer, Konami has announced that users can add a number of extra features to the title via a free download of content. MSE application will be present in beta, allowing users to create an account and share it through the results with their Facebook friends. In October, the application will have all the characteristics, statistical systems, achievements and rewards, and the ability to create groups of public and private players. Additionally, the update will adjust parameters ActiveAI artificial intelligence system, as well as reinforce the behavior of the porters, based on feedback received from users in recent weeks.

In PlayStation ® 3, users will also have 3D TVs support this functionality."

Ronaldo Day

Today has been all about the new PES cover star Ronaldo at Konami. Today the PES team released some images from a photo shoot with Ronaldo with the follow statement from the man himself 

"I am delighted that Konami chose me to be on the cover of PES 2012, and for the reasons behind it. For me, PES 2012 is a perfect recreation of what happens on the field, and especially noted for the entire game component set offers: how to work together to attack, create space and break through defenses. I think anyone who plays can understand how a real game and the importance of being united. It's never one thing is always a team game, and PES 2012 demonstrates this better than any other game."

PES 2012 Demo 2 is now out and available to download via PSN, Xbox Live and PC. PC Link is HERE.

Konami has today announced that the second demo will hit  Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on the 14 September.

In the second demo you will be able to play as the following teams:

Inter Milan

Konami has told that they have taking note of all the feedback from the first demo and they have made some improvements to the goal keepers and the defensive AI.
